Job Description

Exciting opportunity for an expert in critical parts coating and cleaning parts, to join an established organisation, responsible for the design of critical mechanical systems in an effective and reliable way that results in highly manufacturable and serviceable components.

 

Role:

  • Own development and updates of BKM’s and specifications of critical parts coating and cleaning
  • Manage and qualify suppliers in partnership with Global Supply Chain Organization
  • Responsible for delivering competitive on-wafer performance and cost-of ownership
  • Identify, assess, and develop mitigations to potential design risks
  • Mentor team members
  • Work with vendors to evaluate components
  • Demonstrated Leadership skills
  • Developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders, understanding their needs and consulting with them to build quality procurement strategies aligned to business requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and 10 or more years related experience. Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering /PhD preferred
  • Knowledge in the design of the following components: ESC & Electrostatic Clamping, Chamber Design, and RF/Plasma
  • Experience and proficiency with CAD tools such as Solidworks and other tools
  • Self-starter with the ability to determine technical solutions across the entire product portfolio
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex technical environment.
