Job Description

Role:

  • Innovate and develop special ready-mixed concrete (RMC) products and construction materials, using the latest technologies
  • Add to and improve existing stable of more than hundreds of RMC products and materials, with future study of the products to balance performance and cost
  • Update and apply cutting-edge technology and new types of raw materials for the development of RMC products
  • Coordinate with operations and sales teams to provide technical support to customers’ sites for excellent customer service
  • Design special RMC products, customized to customers’ requirements
  • Maintain good working relationships with consultants, customers, and representatives from various statutory/government bodies
  • Research and publish technical papers
  • Provide in-house technical training

Requirements:

  • PhD in Civil or Materials Science Engineering
  • Experience in civil engineering, construction technology, material science, concrete technology and production
  • Familiar with SSEN, ACI, ASTM, and BS/EN standards or specifications for Civil Engineering and concrete
  • Well versed in laboratory tests, relevant standards and specifications
  • A team player who is equipped with good leadership qualities and strong interpersonal skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Eager to learn, innovative, and possesses the initiative to acquire new technology and skills
  • Fresh PhD graduates with relevant background are welcomed to apply
