This hands-on role will be responsible for supporting and improving existing semiconductor RF plasma processing equipment products and developing new products with emphasis on C&F (concept & feasibility) activities from new concept proposal, validation, hardware design, and performance tests.

Role:

  • Develop RF power delivery systems 1-10KW range that include generators, matches and ICP coils to guarantee optimal power delivery conditions to generate and sustain plasma
  • Generate specifications for OEM components as generators and matches
  • Drive RF suppliers for generators and matches to meet our specifications
  • Develop coils and other unique RF components for plasma generation
  • Design RF systems with anti-arcing features
  • Design RF systems and chamber for best grounding
  • Resolve field escalations related to RF power delivery and plasma stability
  • Materials selection and use of them in RF design
  • Develop RF sensors to measure EM fields and integrate them into system design
  • Support cost reduction programs for qualification of lower cost OEM generators and matches
