Job Description
Role:
- Develop and implement strategies to automate various manufacturing processes and operations
- Lead a team of automation engineers and technicians to design, configure, and maintain automated systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of automated equipment and systems
- Analyse data and metrics to continually optimize the performance of automated processes
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards
- Perform internal quality system audit
- Provide training and support to production staff on the use of automated systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in an automation, medical or manufacturing engineering role
- Proven track record of successfully implementing and optimizing automated systems
- Strong technical expertise in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial robotics
- Knowledge in ISO9001, ISO13485, TS16949, familiar with FMEA, PPAP, APQP and IOPQ
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of automation professionals
- Familiar with industry standards and regulations related to industrial automation
