Opportunity for an experienced biotechnologist with prior experience in biologics facility to perform functions associated with cGMP manufacturing operations within the biologics production facility, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, and final materials.

Role:

• Responsible for Cell culture (from vial thaw to production scale), Buffer/ media preparation, column chromatography, tangential flow filtration and sampling of in process and raw materials.
• Use sophisticated programs (such as LIMS, SAP, automated control systems, etc.) to collect and evaluate operating data, which can be used to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment and determine and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process
• Assigns tasks within the shift team to other biotechnologists
• Assists Supervisor in planning and leading area activities to ensure adherence to schedule
• Involved in regulatory/internal audits and inspections, and in cross-functional meetings
• Initiates Demand Work Order, reviews executed batch records and worksheets
• Drives the resolution of anomalous processing events
• Sets a positive team environment and inculcates a nurturing culture
• Acting Supervisor when Supervisor is not available

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science with at least 4 years of experience working in Biologics Production facility or equivalent, of which at least 3 years spent in a specific area/stream experience
• As a highly skilled specialist, you will contribute to the development of concepts and techniques and completes complex tasks in creative and effective ways.
• Experienced working on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues.
• Makes recommendations for new procedures.
• Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
• Assists Supervisor in planning and leading area activities.
• Shift work is required

Opportunity for an experienced professional with prior GMP work environment and good people management experience to join a well-established pharmaceutical facility in Singapore

Role:

• Lead a team of warehouse assistants in materials handling activities which include but not limited to receiving and processing of incoming materials, apply label to materials, moving pallets, re-palletize materials, retrieve raw materials from cold rooms, return raw materials to pallets position.
• Establish standard operating procedure for warehouse operation.
• Monitor and manage inventory control.
• Oversee the daily coordination/planning for inbound and outbound activities to support smooth production execution.
• Ensure accurate and timely receiving and issuance of materials to production from internal warehouse and 3PL to ensure no production stoppages including cold room or freezer materials.
• Raising of materials damage report, materials disposition authorization and any other document to track the movement of inventories.
• Lead and conduct investigation for any inventory discrepancies, violation of GMP and EHS procedure.
• Lead and plan for routine cycle counting activities which may include physical counting, count check, count verify and data entry of count tabulation. Ensure all inventories are properly managed.
• Ensure all documentation is handled, filed properly and data are posted accurately in the SAP system.
• Responsible for all outbound land, sea and air shipments. Ensure shipments are pack and stuff on time for delivery.
• Ensure all material handling equipment such as Forklift and VNA are operated with standard operating and safety procedures and also training of new employees.
• Ensure safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
• Involve in warehouse verification and qualification of equipment and area of applicable.
• Ensure that all tasks performed follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comply with Current good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) principles.
• Any other duties assigned by the Superior or Management.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Supply Chain or equivalent with at least 6 years of relevant experience in GMP warehouse environment. At least 3 years of warehouse supervisory experience
• Must have knowledge of cGMP, current Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Able to adapt to changing work schedules and hours including overtime when required.
• Ability to work in a fast pace and challenging environment.
• A willing and engaging team player as well as an independent worker, contributing positively to team efficiency.
• Good interpersonal, organizational, time management, computer literacy and communication skills.
• Possess a valid forklift license ideally and able to operate Reach Truck and VNA will be an advantage.
• Prior experience working with SAP and MES system is advantageous.
