Our client is currently in search of an Assistant Director - Financial reporting due to business needs.
In this role, you will be responsible for the review of full set of accounts including balance sheet, ageing reports as well as consolidation of Group’s results, audited statutory accounts, management reports, costing reports and statistical reports/ surveys for submission to management and regulatory bodies.
You will be responsible for governance as well as tax matters. You will review the Governance Framework, Policies and Controls and partner with the Shared Services and Finance teams to implement financial controls and monitor effectiveness of controls in processes to manage financial risks. You will review finance processes, process flows, SOPs and work instructions.
To be successful, you should possess a strong Accounting Degree with CA/CPA and at least 11 to 12 years of professional work experience with some years gained in Big 4 audit. You should possess strong hands-on experience in financial reporting, governance, controls and tax (GST, WHT and Property Tax). You should be technically competent with up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and practices and Income Tax Act provisions.
Suitable applicants must possess strong communication and stakeholder management skill and be comfortable supporting ad-hoc projects as assigned by Finance Director and CFO.
